1. Who we are
MCos CRM is a customer relationship management service operated by MCos (“MCos”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy explains how we handle information when a business connects its Meta assets, including Facebook Pages, Instagram lead forms, or advertising accounts, to MCos CRM.
For privacy questions, contact us at support@mcos.io.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features enabled by a customer, MCos may process:
- Account information such as name, email address, role, and login information.
- Business and Page information, including Page names, IDs, access details, lead forms, and business asset identifiers.
- Lead information submitted through a customer’s forms, such as name, phone number, email address, answers, source, campaign, ad, and submission time.
- CRM activity such as assignments, notes, follow-up dates, stages, and sales-team updates.
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as timestamps, browser details, IP address, and audit events.
3. How we use information
For public signup, we process your name, business name and email, a protected password hash, email verification and consent records, and trial dates. Pending verification requests expire after 15 minutes. CRM activity reporting can include estimated active time from foreground/idle heartbeats, visible to the workspace owner and permitted managers. It is not a recording of your screen or every minute you are logged in. Self-signup owners can delete their workspace from the app or web account settings; see Data Deletion.
- To provide the MCos CRM service requested by the customer.
- To connect authorized Meta Pages and lead forms and retrieve permitted lead submissions.
- To route leads to the customer’s sales team and support follow-up workflows.
- To authenticate users, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service.
- To communicate about service operation, security, and material policy changes.
We use Meta data only for the business purpose authorized by the customer. We do not sell Meta data or use it for unrelated advertising.
4. Meta data and customer control
A customer chooses which Meta account, Page, business asset, and lead forms to connect. MCos receives only the permissions granted through Meta’s authorization flow. Customers can disconnect an integration or ask us to remove stored data using the instructions on our Data Deletion page.
5. Sharing and service providers
MCos does not sell or share customer lead data for advertising purposes. We may use carefully selected service providers to host and operate the service. Our current infrastructure provider is 2COHOST, which may process data as part of hosting, storage, backup, security, and network operations. Providers may access data only as needed to deliver their services and are expected to protect it.
6. Retention and security
We retain CRM and lead information for as long as the customer maintains the relevant workspace or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. Customers may request deletion as described on our Data Deletion page.
We use access controls, authentication, audit records, encrypted transport, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should use strong passwords and limit access to trusted team members.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. Requests should be sent to support@mcos.io from an address associated with the relevant business or lead. We may need to verify the requester and coordinate with the MCos customer that controls the lead relationship.
8. Children’s information
MCos is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the service.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our service, legal obligations, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
